About

Autistic Flair is working to change

perceptions of autism to create

an inclusive society for all.

Why We Exist

Autistic Flair started as an online community and resource hub dedicated to improving autism understanding in our wider society. We are passionate about amplifying autistic voices so people can learn about autism from real-life experiences.

The company has evolved and now offers services to individuals, families and businesses. Services are open to anyone – autistic, neurodivergent or neurotypical – looking to improve autism understanding and acceptance.

Support sessions and consultations can be delivered online or in-person in the United Kingdom. Our resource centre is available to people worldwide.

Community

Many autistic individuals feel alone and misunderstood. Autistic Flair’s Instagram page gives autistic people the opportunity to connect with like-minded people in a safe place; somewhere they are celebrated and valued for who they are.

Services

Autistic Flair provides services to anyone – autistic, neurodivergent or neurotypical –looking to improve autism understanding and acceptance. We deliver in-person and virtual consultations, offering a range of packages to suit individual needs.

Resources

Founder of We Work With Autism founder Katie Forbes

Hello! I’m Katie

Founder and Director of Autistic Flair

I initially launched Autistic Flair as a platform to share my experiences growing up autistic, with a goal to deepening my understanding of autism, learn to accept and celebrate my differences, and connect with other autistic people.

As tens of thousands of people started following my journey, I then dedicated the platform to amplifying a range of autistic voices within our community. This allowed people to learn about autism from real-life experiences, and it created a safe place where autistic people can connect.

After delivering a TEDx talk Autism is a difference, not a disorder – in November 2022, I rolled out autistic-led services for individuals, families and businesses looking to improve autism understanding and acceptance.
